  28. My philosophy on this subject has always been, leave the NTSC output of the 
  29. Toaster alone.
  30. Any component video deck you buy will have a NTSC input, let the video deck 
  31. do the component conversion for you. If you have a high quality component 
  32. VCR, odd's are its internal NTSC to Component converter will be better, or 
  33. at least as good as, some add on card rigged up to work with the Toaster. 
  34. The only real advantage I see is viewing your work with less NTSC dot crawl 
  35. and associated NTSC artifacting. This can also lead to trouble when you 
  36. output to VHS, you may have to re-do some graphics because they looked good 
  37. under Y/C but were junk when viewed in NTSC.
